James is a capability management expert with deep experience in military aviation, strategy, management and training. Some of his previous roles include Senior Advisor to the Afghan Ministry of Defence on Air Matters, Director Battlefield Aviation Program, Commandant Army Aviation Training Centre and Director Aviation Capability Management. A pilot and flying instructor with qualifications on Tiger, Black Hawk and Iroquois helicopters, James is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Member of the Order of Australia.

Travis has a broad range of management consulting experience and has predominantly worked alongside federal government clients. He has been engaged in several large-scale transformation and acquisition projects across the defence and health sectors, and also several smaller projects focusing on process efficiency, procurement, and strategy. Whilst originally from Sydney, Travis moved to Brisbane recently and is looking forward to collaborating with a new set of clients as they face new and unforeseen challenges.

Richard brings deep experience in leadership, strategy, training and capability management. A pilot and flying instructor with more than 25 years in military aviation, Richard has had training roles in both ab initio fixed wing, and rotary wing training schools, including command of the ADF Joint Helicopter School. He has had roles as the capability manager for the Tiger helicopter and the airworthiness manager for the Army Aviation flying management system. Richard was responsible for the introduction of a QMS into Army Aviation Command and he has had multiple operational deployments in command of Australian troops.

Mathew served as a Captain in the Australian Defence Force and was awarded the Bronze Commendation Australian Army for developing and leading the implementation of an improved system which prepares specialised units for operation deployment. Mat utilised his expertise to deliver similar outcomes on projects within the Department of Education South Australia, and his ability to deliver key outcomes in challenging environments and pressurised situations saw him successfully lead the delivery of the Covid-19 vaccination program in South Australia. Mat holds a Master of Business.

With over 30 years in military aviation, Michael has extensive experience in both fixed and rotary wing operations, including command of the Army Helicopter School, as well as an extended period as the Army (Operational) Airworthiness Manager for all of Army’s aviation systems and support systems. Michael has also had multiple domestic and international operational deployments, which includes significant experience with the United Nations. As a result, he understands the benefits of nurturing relationships which enables him to achieve great results across broad based stakeholder groups and operationalise pragmatic solutions. Michael holds a Masters Degree in Management.
