James Brown AM
James is a capability management expert with deep experience in military aviation, strategy, management and training. Some of his previous roles include Senior Advisor to the Afghan Ministry of Defence on Air Matters, Director Battlefield Aviation Program, Commandant Army Aviation Training Centre and Director Aviation Capability Management. A pilot and flying instructor with qualifications on Tiger, Black Hawk and Iroquois helicopters, James is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Member of the Order of Australia.

Mark brings international experience from over 30 years in the U.S. Navy as an F/A-18 pilot & TOPGUN graduate, Instructor Pilot, Squadron Commanding Officer, C4 Systems Strategy Chief, and Training Air Wing Commander. Patsy specialises in Human Resources working extensively with senior executives across Government Agencies and Unions.
Scott has deep practical experience in Australia and internationally as an executive and senior leader in the public, private and for-purpose sectors, and in the Australian Army. Scott has leveraged that experience as a management consultant to provide strong practical outcomes for clients operating within challenging and complex environments, with particular expertise in risk management, business continuity, business process improvement and organisational design. Mathew served as a Captain in the Australian Defence Force and was awarded the Bronze Commendation Australian Army for developing and leading the implementation of an improved system which prepares specialised units for operation deployment. Mat utilised his expertise to deliver similar outcomes on projects within the Department of Education South Australia, and his ability to deliver key outcomes in challenging environments and pressurised situations saw him successfully lead the delivery of the Covid-19 vaccination program in South Australia. Eugenie is an experienced business support officer with a versatile skillset. She has provided finance, payroll, and human resource management support within the private and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to her career in business support, Eugenie dedicated 18 years to the field of healthcare as a registered nurse. Her background in the health sector, coupled with her unwavering commitment to patient care, has uniquely shaped her approach to providing invaluable business support to GSA and our clients.
Olivia has over 13 years of experience in delivering cost reduction, operational excellence, and strategy implementation initiatives. Her expertise lies in project management, business analysis, business process mapping, process engineering and improvement, workshop facilitation, change management and operational optimisation. Olivia’s pragmatic approach and communication skills make her successful in delivering results for the clients and engagements she works on.
Michael brings deep practical experience in leadership, strategy and military aviation. With over 30 years in military aviation, Michael has extensive experience in both fixed and rotary wing operations, including command of the Army Helicopter School, as well as an extended period as the Army (Operational) Airworthiness Manager for all of Army’s aviation systems and support systems. Michael has also had multiple domestic and international operational deployments, which includes significant experience with the United Nations. As a result, he understands the benefits of nurturing relationships which enables him to achieve great results across broad based stakeholder groups and operationalise pragmatic solutions. Michael holds a Masters Degree in Management.
